Il gruppo Sevelowdown nasce a Roma nel 1998. Nei primi anni di attività suonano nei principali locali di Roma e d’Italia e
registrano svariati demo ed Ep auto prodotti.
Nel 2006 pubblicano il primo album con la Wynona Records, dal titolo "RoomCityLandscape".Dopo svariati cambi di lineup nel 2011 e con l'ingresso nel gruppo di due membri fondatori degli En Declin, altra nota band capitolina.
